Who runs this site
Her Metabolic Health is a publication of unLit Publishing LLC, 3721 W Michigan Ave, Suite 100, PMB 178, Lansing, MI 48917, United States. When this policy says "we" or "us", it means us.
What we collect
Very little. There are no accounts, no sign-up forms and nothing on this site asks for your health information.
- Email you send us: if you write to [email protected], we receive your address and whatever you choose to tell us. Please do not send medical records.
- Server logs: our host keeps standard logs (IP address, browser type, referring page and pages requested) for security and troubleshooting. They are not used to build a profile of you.
- Measurement: how pages are used, described below.
Provider Match
The answers you give in Find A Provider are worked out inside your own browser and are never sent to us. When you click through to a provider, we record which listing was clicked and that the click came from this site, so referrals can be counted. Some provider links are sponsored, and we may receive a referral fee if you sign up; that never changes how a provider is scored. Anything you share with a provider after you leave this site is covered by that provider's own privacy policy.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages get read. It sets first-party analytics cookies under Google's policy. There is no advertising and no social tracking here, and we do not sell or share what the analytics collect.
We also run our own measurement tool, SitePulse, on our own server, to learn how pages get used and where they break: which pages are viewed, where people click and how far they scroll, page speed and errors. Session replays are switched off on this site. It sets no cookies, does not store your IP address and never captures what you type into a form, because every field is masked in your browser before anything is sent. If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, it records nothing. We do not sell or share this data, and we use it only to improve this site.
Fonts
Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts. Your browser requests the font files from Google's servers, which means Google receives your IP address as part of that request. Google's handling of that data is governed by its own privacy policy.
We do not sell your data
We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers. Service providers that run the site for us (our web host, Cloudflare, Google Analytics) receive only what they need to do that work.
Your rights
You may ask us for a copy of anything we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] and we will answer within 30 days.
Children
This site is written for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
Not medical advice
Everything here is educational. Do not start, stop or change a dose without your prescriber.
Changes
Any update to this policy gets posted here with a new effective date.
